AlacrityPC was designed to optimize your PCs resource usage. Prior to starting up a resource intensive application, it will shut down minor applications before starting up the desired one. Typically, it would remove your desktop background, shut down the Vista sidebar and the desktop shell. Functions are forced to run in the background.
